Downstream Operations
S.V. OIL's downstream operations are extreamly limited. Since we heavily rely on the Kulevi Oil Refinery (Kulevi, Georgia) to purify the crude oil we get from the Binagady and the Tagiev oil fields in the Absheron Peninsula. It is these purified products that S.V. OIL sales localy and internationaly.
This policy of having limited activity in downstream operations is a result of luck capital to build our own refinery. However, S.V. OIL is working towards opening a small scale oil refinery plant that we can produce enough products for a mid-sized vessel every month.
